During an earnings call today, Ubisoft has confirmed that the Wii U version of Watch Dogs has been delayed. An Ubisoft spokesperson sent the following statement to VideoGamer.com when asked to specify on why it was delayed:
“We made the difficult decision to further delay the release of Watch Dogs on Wii U to focus the team’s resources where they could have the broadest possible benefit for both our customers and Ubisoft,” said the Ubisoft spokesperson.
Furthermore, there still isn’t a firm, solid release date for the other versions of Watch Dogs. Ubisoft says Watch Dogs will be released for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation, and PC between April and June.
